BEST EVER CONFERENCE X

The Best Ever Conference is one of the country's premier commercial real estate events — three days, over a thousand investors, and a production environment built to match the scale of the room.

In The Event handled full event production for BEC X, and I contributed graphic design to the final production, including the podcast stage panels, podium, and debate counter graphics, as well as a series of identity concepts developed during the design phase.

The main stage environment for BEC X, built around the Après Ski direction the team landed on — mountain backdrop, clean sightlines, and enough scale to hold a room of a thousand investors.
The podcast stage panels were mine. The challenge was designing something that read as its own space within the larger production without competing with the main stage behind it.
Podium graphic, also mine. Small footprint, high visibility — every speaker stands here, so it needed to be confident without being loud.

The debate counter graphic made it into the event — no on-site photos were taken, so this is the design as delivered. Are you the best ever? was the brief and the answer.
An alternate identity direction exploring the conference's chrome-and-gradient roots. The team went a different way, but the bones are here.
A 3D iteration of the same concept, pushing the chrome treatment into dimensional type. Wanted to see how far the identity could go before it tipped over.
The logo concept mocked up as a blade sign — testing how the identity would hold in a physical, exterior environment. Scale changes everything about whether a mark works.
This one's my favorite from the set. The logo in a repeating pattern applied to a window treatment — the mark earns its geometry when it's given room to tile.
