Design That Means Something

Art and design have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. What started as a childhood obsession with doodling on every available surface (sorry, mom) turned into a lifelong creative pursuit. After years of juggling design as a side hustle while working in music and theatre, I finally gave in to the inevitable and made it my primary focus. My eight-year-old self would be smugly nodding right now—he always knew this was the plan.

My background is a bit of a creative whirlwind. I’m a trained classical vocalist, opera and musical theatre director, and voice teacher, which means I’ve spent years telling stories, managing productions, and making sure nobody missed their cue. Those same skills—attention to detail, composition, and bringing big ideas to life—now fuel my work as a graphic artist. Whether I’m crafting a brand identity, custom lettering, or an illustration, I approach every project with a mix of artistic precision and creative enthusiasm (with significantly fewer high notes involved).

I specialize in visual brand identity, custom lettering, illustration, packaging design, merch, clothing, and surface design. Whether you're launching a brand, revamping your aesthetic, or just need something that looks as awesome as your idea is, I’d love to help.

In addition to my freelance work, I work as part of a small design team at In The Event, an event design company in Salt Lake City that provides design and rental services for corporate events, conferences, weddings, and more.

Let’s make something great together.

Services I Offer

  • Brand Identity, Print & Digital Collateral

Full-service graphic design spanning brand identity development, logo design, typography systems, color palette development, marketing collateral, social media graphics, promotional materials, presentation design, and print-ready production files. Experienced across both print and digital pipelines with a working knowledge of file preparation, color management, and cross-platform delivery. Designs are built with intentionality — balancing visual hierarchy, brand consistency, and audience-appropriate communication across every touchpoint.

  • Event Environments, Signage & Experiential Graphics

Design and production of large-scale environmental graphics and event collateral including stage backdrops, branded signage, wayfinding systems, step-and-repeat walls, directional and identification signage, table and seating collateral, lanyard badges, banners, and floor graphics. Experienced in preparing files for large-format print production with attention to bleed, resolution, color profiles, and substrate requirements. Work spans corporate events, galas, trade shows, and experiential activations — from initial concept through print-ready delivery.

  • Logo Design, Visual Systems & Brand Standards

Development of cohesive visual identities from the ground up, including logo design, typography selection, color system development, iconography, and brand standards documentation. Every identity is built as a complete system — designed to function consistently across print, digital, signage, merchandise, and environmental applications. Experienced working with startups, small businesses, and creative ventures from initial concept through final brand guide delivery.

  • Kinetic Graphics, Branded Motion & Animation

Design and production of motion graphics for brand storytelling, social media, event presentation, and video content across both 2D and 3D workflows. Proficient in Moho Pro and Blender with a working knowledge of compositing and delivery. Rooted in a human-first methodology — motion is treated as a design discipline, not a technical exercise. Typography, color, pacing, and visual hierarchy are given the same intentionality in time as they are on the page, resulting in work that communicates clearly, moves purposefully, and feels native to the brand it represents.

  • Hand-Lettered Design, Display Type & Typographic Art

Design and execution of custom lettering for logos, wordmarks, editorial illustration, merchandise, signage, and decorative applications. Work spans hand-lettered compositions, brush script, display typography, and hybrid lettering-illustration pieces built for both print and digital use. Each piece is developed with attention to rhythm, weight, and visual cohesion — functioning as standalone art or as an integrated element within a larger design system.

  • Character Design, Editorial & Decorative Art

Original illustration for print, digital, and merchandise applications spanning character design, editorial art, decorative compositions, and narrative illustration. Work is informed by a background in performing arts and visual storytelling, with a natural affinity for expressive, character-driven imagery. Experienced in both traditional and digital workflows with deliverables prepared for screen, large-format print, and product application across apparel, goods, and branded collateral.

  • Product Packaging, Labels & Retail-Ready Presentation

Design of packaging systems and product labels for retail, e-commerce, and boutique product lines including box structures, label layouts, hang tags, and unboxing collateral. Work balances shelf presence, brand alignment, and print production requirements — with attention to dieline preparation, substrate considerations, and finish specifications. Experienced developing packaging that communicates product value and brand identity cohesively from first impression through the full customer experience.
